Everyone knows that it's the shoes that make the outfit.

That is why as Summer quickly approaches, the streets of Boston have seemingly turned into a runway for the newest trends for sandals & stilettos. As I start shopping for my own Summertime footwear, I can't help but notice that a lot of the high end, designer shoes (that I dream to one day covet) are being reproduced at a lower cost & sold at local stores & malls.

Jessica Simpson, for example, is currently selling a sandal that looks identical to a Christian Louboutin design.  The colors & shape of the sandal are extremely similar, while the hardware & height are identical. The only major difference is that the Louboutin design comes with an exclusive red sole & a heavy price tag of over $1,000 (while a consumer can purchase Jessica Simpson's sandal for $48.90 at Nordstrom).
